What is Ubber Commute ?
Uber has launched a carpooling option in your normal Uber app. Now you can select shared car in Uber go.
What are the benefits ?
Benefit to Drivers (commuters or who opt for car pooling) :- These peolple can save money on their fuel. Whereas they got verified co travellers whose pick up and drop will fall in their way.
Benefit to rider :- you will get very cool cars in uber go instead of Indica. Yes when you select shared option in uber go. You will instead of hiring a taxi will carpool a private car. Chances to get a better co traveller increase. Top of that most of these are SUV's or top class Sedan. So you got to ride a better car at same 7rs /km rate.
Here’s how it works:
- If you drive to and from work or make trips across town – and would like to share your commute – sign up with Uber. Once we have your details, we’ll put your application through our screening process.
- On the days you’re driving, switch on the app anytime between 7AM and 9PM. You’ll be prompted to enter your destination and we’ll then pair you up with another rider heading the same way so you can share the journey and recoup your costs.
- You will see the amount you get for each trip in advance so there are no surprises. It is designed to help recoup the running cost of your car.
For riders its there old Uber.

Those who dont have cars of their own can register Zoom cars too. You can car pool a hired car Super awesome isnt it !
